The positive test result came as Biden was in Las Vegas for a series of events and forced him to cancel a campaign event and likely sideline him for several days. "The President is fully vaccinated and boosted and experiencing mild symptoms," said White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki in a statement, adding that he would "continue to carry out all of his duties fully during this time." Biden's diagnosis highlights the prevalence of the virus even among those who are vaccinated and boosted.
