Armand Duplantis, also known as "Mondo," is a Swedish-American pole vaulter who has cemented his place in history as one of the greatest athletes of all time. Born on November 10, 1999, Duplantis holds both the world outdoor and indoor pole vault records, with jumps of 6.25 meters and 6.21 meters, respectively.

Early Dominance

Duplantis's talent for pole vaulting was evident from a young age. He began competing at the age of 8 and quickly progressed through the ranks. In 2015, at just 15 years old, he won the European Youth Olympic Festival. He continued his dominance by winning the World Junior Championships in 2016 and 2017.
