BMW has unveiled the new M2, the latest in the Bavarian automaker's popular line of high-performance coupes.

Starting at Rs. 1.39 crore, the M2 is priced aggressively in the Indian market and is expected to be a strong contender in the segment.

Design

The M2 features a sleek and aggressive design with a wide grille, muscular fenders, and a sporty rear end. It is available in a range of bold paint finishes.

Performance

Under the hood, the M2 is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that produces 460 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. This enables it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 285 km/h.

Technology

The M2 is equipped with a host of advanced technologies, including an 8-speed automatic transmission, a digital instrument cluster, and a head-up display.

Variants

BMW will offer the M2 in three variants: the M2 Base, the M240i, and the M240i xDrive. The latter two feature a more powerful engine and all-wheel drive.
