JD Vance's Trip on Trump Force Two Ends in Emergency Landing

Ohio Senator and Trump Running Mate Forced to Land in Milwaukee

Presidential Aspirant's Moment of Executive Imagery Cuts Short

A planned moment of executive imagery for JD Vance, the Republican Senator from Ohio and running mate to former President Donald Trump, was cut short when the Trump Force Two aircraft he was aboard made an emergency landing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Senator Vance had boarded the specialized aircraft from his home state, seeking to harness the visual power of arriving on a presidential plane.

The emergency landing drew a large crowd of around 15,000 people, who gathered in front of Air Force Two on the tarmac at Mitchell International Airport. Despite the unplanned nature of the landing, the crowd remained enthusiastic, taking photos, videos, and sharing their excitement on social media.

However, the incident also drew criticism from some corners, with opponents of Trump and Vance mocking the perceived misuse of executive aircraft and questioning the wisdom of using it for political gain. A reflection from Air Force Two seen in a video posted online sparked controversy, as it appeared to show that people had been digitally added to the crowd.
